Matrix People Solutions…. Part II

The ever so nice folk at Matrix People Solutions came back to see us about producing a short animation sequence that outlines their process pipeline in an easy to understand visual way.
Of course, we said yes; how could we not want to do work for this wonderful outfit?
First off, we had to understand their entire workflow. From this, and with a little help from themsleves; we were able to note the things that set Matrix apart from their competitors.
Next, we came up with a simple, yet strong design style through which to deliver the message.
We think it works very well; have a look for yourselves….
The Managing Director of Matrix People Solutions, David Braviner also liked it… which is a good thing really!
Here’s what he said:

EESB move in to The Zoo
It’s that time again, when the fins got a bit too itchy (and the cream didn’t help) so we had to have a move about.
Yes, EESB has moved just a short distance from where we were located since 2007, and now are in Caroline Street in The Jewellery Quarter.
We’ve moved into ‘The Zoo’ with some close partner companies, those being: @Warblefly Productions, Infinite Wisdom Productions, Rapid Pictures and Petit Pois Illustration.
It basically means that under a single roof we have 3 floors of one-stop-shop media production capabilities. This allows us to handle just about any production from concepts, video production, animation, post-production and delivery like never before, due to having green-screen studio space, rehearsal rooms, writers, editors, producers, animators, illustrators and more, all in one place.
Heck, we’ll even have a large boardroom for hire soon too!

Gallery 37 – Crazy 3-in-1 DVD
What a crazy project this was…!
One of our partner DVD replicators had a job come in where the content part of the brief was to create a new DVD master, from 3 different DVDs.
Not the hardest thing, I hear some of you naughty DVD rippers out there exclaim.
But, this new master DVD not only had to contain not only the content of the original 3 DVDs, but also had to retain all the working motion menus, existing navigation, button links etc.
It also meant that there had to be a new top-level DVD menu which was shown first after starting the disc, so that you could select which of the 3 original DVDs you wanted to watch. Oh, and the user had to be able to get back to this new top-level menu.

Exactly, pretty mad, and some seriously technical DVD authoring to do.
Very hard, but very satisfying once I’d cracked it.
Luckily the client was please with it too. Good new all round then.
